    Hi to all,
there is a interesting auction at ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Altec-605a-Duple...QQcmdZViewItem

Does anyone know what enclosure this is?
It would be a fine enclosure for mine 605a?s...
Who can help to give me the data sheet file of the real dimension?
It looks not as big as the ?normal? 605a cabinets.

    Thank you very much and

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

    FRank

    Greets!

The enclosure design manual shown is here: http://www.lansingheritage.org/html/...960s-plans.htm

I don't recognize this particular style variant, but it seems reasonable to me that it's just a cosmetic variation of this basic box design used on several models: pg. 13, fig. 23 in the referenced manual. It's finished height is 30" if it's the same as the Capistrano, though of course you can make it whatever you want. From a performance POV, it needs to stand on end.

Interesting! I've never seen any duplexes in sealed cabs other than a couple of small utility/PA cabs.
